Kurt’s Experience
I’ve learned from every part of my life – and my journey has been anything but typical.
After graduating from Harvard University in 1995, I worked in multiple Fortune 500 companies, several small start-up ventures, and midsize companies in-between. I’ve had a variety of roles and jobs in a variety of industries. I’ve experienced big success, and big failure. I’ve endured the greatest heartbreaks and the most euphoric highs. I’ve learned from it all. And I’ve lived all over the US – including Boston, Dallas, New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Lake Tahoe, and Austin. These experiences have given me a deep appreciation and perspective on life, location, work, people, community and motivation that I believe is a tremendous asset in this work. Among the lessons I’ve learned: respect, inclusivity, connection, compassion, adversity, community, hope, independence, and the importance of failure and challenge as the most profound learning opportunities.
